May I through your newspaper convey my thanks to all those involved in our recent win in the Hardens and England (Chippenham) by-election.
Firstly to the electoral services team for the efficient manner in which the election and subsequent count was carried out.
Secondly to my team for the hard work they put into the strategy and logistics involved in the win.
To my two opponents, my commiserations and thanks for a well-fought campaign and I will continue to fight for the issues affecting our town that we all believe in.
Finally, a message to the residents of the Hardens and England ward, the area of Chippenham in which I grew up. I thank you for your votes and confidence in me.
Regardless of who you voted for, I pledge that I will represent all of you in the numerous issues you have informed me about during this campaign.
