Christmas is rushing towards us, which means that it is the time of year for the annual exhibition of the Lawrence Society of Art in Devizes.

The 140 members cordially invite the public to come and have a look around the 400 exhibits, prints and cards. Original pictures make great Christmas presents and most of them will be on sale.

Maybe you are an artist new to the area, whether beginner or professional, in which case this is your local society to join.

This year we shall once again be hosting a few works by the members of the Wiltshire Blind Association.

The exhibition is held in the Corn Exchange, Devizes on the Market Place. It is open on Wednesday, November 14th and Friday, November 16 from 10am to 6pm, on Thursday, November 15 from 9am to 6pm and on Saturday, November 17 from 10am to 4pm. It is free to come in and, if nothing else, it will give you some pleasant tranquility in beautiful surroundings.

Alan Padwick, Chairman, The Lawrence Society of Art.
