Starr leads Westbury to victory
Under 9's Division One
After a goal less first half Henry Bilsdon gave Westbury Youth Lions the lead against home side Warminster Highbury following great work from Ben Starr. Starr made it 2-0 with a deflected left footed strike giving Westbury the win.
Under 9's Division Three
Charlie Baynes scored both goals for Castle Combe Colts in their 2-0 home win against Warminster Highbury.
Trowbridge Town Youth B and D team played out a goal less draw.
Under 9's Division Four
White Horse Juniors netted three goals with no reply to take all three points at home against Trowbridge Town Youth. White Horse saw goals from Tynan Gleed, Ashley Daniels and an own goal.
Melksham Park B and Trowbridge Wanderers played an extremely close game where both defences came out on top. Liam Reed, Jay Athay and George Morrison played well at the back for Park with Ayrton Bramley and Harry Church going back to help. Tai Jones and Jordan Early had little joy up front against a strong Trowbridge back line. Just before the break Wanderers a long cross to the back post was tapped in giving the Park keeper, Steven Brenchley no chance. After the break Ashley Beale and Charlie Dodge were subbed on to aide Jones and Early but when Park managed to break through the Trowbridge defence their keeper held them at bay. Park awarded Liam Reed man of the match.
Jack Harvey scored the only goal of the game just before half time for home side Mere against Bradford Town Youth.
Under 9's Division Five
Devizes Town Youth took a 2-0 lead at the break against FC Chippenham with both goals from Archie Easton. After the break Chippenham brought the game level for a 2-2 draw.
Under 9's Division Six
Larkhall Athletic and Bradford Town Youth settled for a point each in their 2-2 draw.
U10 Green Division
It was an even match between Trowbridge Town Youth C and Bradford B which saw the final score 0-0. Bradford could not break down the Trowbridge defence as Amin Bellazrak and Lee Stratton ably defended the Trowbridge Goal during the first half. Trowbridge were on the attack in the second half with Cameron Venn, Sam Grant, Edward Leeson and Lewis Wayman attacking from midfield with some excellent supplies to Liam Ferris who could not score due to the superb goalkeeping from Bradford. Bradford also had chances in the second half but Sam Webb in the Trowbridge goal would not be beaten. Man of the match for Trowbridge was awarded to Amin Bellazrak and the match was well refereed by Karl Buckland.
