Chippenham had much of the possession but could not quite find the winning goal but go into next week's cup match hopeful against a strong and talented Trowbridge team.

Marlborough started superbly from the kickoff and drove straight through the AFC Corsham Leopards defence to register a goal inside the first fifteen seconds. This seemed to throw Corsham out of their stride and they struggled to put together their normal passing game and were lucky not to go further behind. Slowly they came back into the match and managed to create a number of chances which foundered on the rock that was the Marlborough keeper. Time and again he threw his large frame across the goal to push shots round the post or to catch any long range efforts. So it was with Corsham pushing for the equaliser that Marlborough broke away and scored their second which effectively killed the match and avenged the defeat at Leafy Lane earlier in the season.

Worton held out and Joshua Hatcher slotted home after a breakaway counter attack to level the scores at 1 - 1. A more even second half saw the deadlock broken by Jack Pearce breaking from midfield, running down the right wing, cutting in and then looping the ball over the goal keepers head, a stunning individual goal, 1 - 2 to Worton. Melksham continued to pile on the pressure but Ben Jenks broke away at the half way line to run the ball into the Melksham goal to seal a 1 - 3 victory to Worton. Man of the match for Worton was goalkeeper Cameron Garbutt for some fine saves to keep Melksham strikers at bay.

Despite this it was Trowbridge who took a two goal lead before Elliott Bodman came off the bench to score, just before half time.
In the second half with the wind behind them Worton were playing some good football, and Jack Francis and David Vick took the score to 3-2. Trowbridge didn't give up and pegged the home team back to 3-3 as the game entered its final quarter. With both teams pushing for a goal there was plenty of space behind the defences. Worton made the most of it as Francis scored his second and Chris O'Donovan made it five. It would have been six but for a full stretch save but the Trowbridge goalie.
