PAUL Peschisolido hopes Burton can signal a turnaround in fortunes by securing a shock victory over in-form Swindon tomorrow.
The Brewers are enduring their worst run as a Football League club having managed to pick up just three points from their last six games.
Burton put in an improved display in the 1-1 draw with Oxford last time out and Peschisolido is hoping his side can build on that tomorrow.
But the former Fulham and Derby striker knows Burton are facing Swindon at the worst-possible time, with Paolo Di Canio’s men currently flying high in League Two.
“It’s going to be a real tough one because they’re absolutely flying and confidence must be a sky high after the result they had on Tuesday,” said Peschisolido.
“When you’ve got the money to go out and buy good players, you’ve got a good chance of promotion from this division.
“We’ve seen that in the past with teams like Notts County, who were able to sign players of better quality than you normally see in League Two.
“When you have got money and a good manager spending it for you, then you’ve got an even better chance.
“I think Swindon will most likely go up without having to worry about the play-offs.”
Even so, Peschisolido is confident his side will give a good account of themselves - whatever the result.
He added: “We’re going there with one thing in mind - and that’s to give it a go to show we’ve turned the corner. I think the lads will be really up for it because we had a superb 45 minutes against Oxford on Sunday that has restored a lot of belief.
“We’re down to ninth in the table at the minute, but we’re only a point off the play-offs so we’ve got everything to play for.
“Everyone is determined - that’s me, the staff and the players - that we’re not going to let the season fizzle out.”
Peschisolido’s options up front are again restricted by injuries to top scorers Billy Kee (groin) and Justin Richards (ankle), although Kee has an outside chance of making the bench after returning to training this week.
The Brewers boss is expected to opt again for Andres Gurrieri and Jacques Maghoma either side of targetman Calvin Zola.

Pre-season the £150k on Connell and £30k on J Smith, both from non-league was not exactly buying success.
Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume this is a veiled swipe at his own board, but make sure we teach them a lesson tomorrow.
Incidentally Pesh's real name is Paolo it says on wiki.
