ON-LOAN striker Harry Smith has left Swindon Town to rejoin parent club Millwall, according to reports.
Smith appeared to post a farewell message to the club on social media over the weekend and this morning, BBC Wiltshire have reported he has indeed left the County Ground.
However, there is no official confirmation from either club about Smith’s return to south London.
Striker Smith arrived at Town in July after agreeing a season-long switch to the club from Championship side Millwall.
Although he made 10 appearances for Swindon over the opening two months of the season, starting opportunities were hard to come by for the 22-year-old.
Smith started just two games for Town, the last of those coming back on August 12 in the home clash against Exeter City in League Two.
His final appearance for the club was in the 2-0 win over Cambridge United on September 30, in which Smith got his only goal for Town after coming off the bench in the second half.
