Langmead cleans up at Exeter
JON Langmead was back in the winners circle at Exeter in the Devon Professional Golfers Alliance meeting that attracted another strong field.
The Exminster club professional shot two-under-par 67 (38 Stableford points) accurate driving and controlled iron play.
Sean Mason, the West Region order of merit winner was three shots behind.
Mason (Teign Valley) has undergone some major swing changes over the winter and is starting to show last season's form again.
The consistent Andrew Norman (Woolacombe and Ilfracombe) and Robin Goodey (Teignmouth) shared third a further shot back.
Norman, playing with his father Chris, won the betterball with 40 points. Chris, a former scratch player, bettered his son six times in their second pro-am victory in three outings.
They beat Mason and Teign Valley amateur Jim Mills and Langmead and Mike Badcock by one shot.
