AFTER their victory against Wootton Bassett in the Wiltshire Cup final, Chippenham added the Dorset & Wilts crown with a win at Swindon RFC.
Chippenham's patience paid off when space was created out wide for inside centre Dom Mackenzie to make a good run into the corner for the opening score.
Another good run from Mackenzie allowed quick hands to send left winger Oli Waddington to outpace the covering defence for the second just before half time.
Wimborne came back strongly following the break and had all the territory for the first five minutes.
But Chippenham cleared their lines and Owen Waters punched through aweakened line to score a third try.
Flanker Sam Graham made a typical direct run from the 22 through several tackles to score, the fourth, Waters adding the extras.
Another try followed almost immediately when right wing Ben Atkinson made a super run from half way to the 22.
The forwards secured quick ball again and the ball was fed out to Mackenzie who crashed through tackles, Waters converting well.
Fly half James Gaunt's catch and pass then released Waddington to outstrip the tattered defence for his second.
The game was rounded off by another excellent try, substitute Coker coming in from full back to go in at the corner.
