Charity rugby match
Devizes Rugby Club will be staging a charity rugby match this Sunday (May 4) at 2pm at Devizes Sports Club.
The event will follow the mini section's annual awards presentation and dinner, and is being staged to benefit the Help For Hero's, and Wiltshire Air Ambulance charities.
Each age group in the mini section, (7-12 year olds) will be split into two teams and compete against one another, with the cumulative score being carried forward to the next age group. (In effect a single match!)
The finale will be when the mini sections' coaching staff, many of whom have long since retired from their playing careers, challenge a select 15 from Devizes RFC's senior sides.
The aim is to draw down the curtain on the 07/08 season in style, there will be a family theme throughout the day, with barbeques, licensed bar, children's entertainment, and lots and lots of nonsense!
Everyone welcome whether allied to the club or otherwise.
