BATH Academy duo Charlie Ewels and Tom Dunn have been dual-registered with Rotherham Titans until the end of the season.

Both players are eligible to play for the Greene King IPA Championship side with immediate effect, although lock Ewels, 19, is currently captaining England U20s in the Six Nations.

Hooker Dunn, 22 and from Studley, will find out next week if he has won the 2015 LV= Breakthrough Player Award.

“It’s great to see Charlie and Tom linking up with a strong side like Rotherham, having already proven themselves at senior level,” said Bath Rugby Academy Director Danny Grewcock.

“We’ve got several Academy players dual-registered at Championship and National One clubs at this exciting part of the season. These experiences will hold them in good stead for the future.”

The club announced last month that Ewels and Dunn had renewed their contracts with Bath, in a move which sees the pair make the step up from the Academy to the senior squad from the 2015/16 season.
