BATH prop Henry Thomas has been ruled out of England's remaining RBS 6 Nations fixtures against Scotland and France.
Thomas sustained a knee injury while on duty for Bath against Sale over the weekend, but his loss to England is alleviated by the imminent return to training of Kieran Brookes.
Sam Burgess will join the squad at Pennyhill Park to continue his union education this week while emerging prospect Henry Slade, of Sale, has been called into the training squad as midfield cover.
