BATH's cross-code signing Sam Burgess has been handed a World Cup boost after being included in England's Saxons squad.

Burgess was one of 11 Bath players named in the England senior training squad for the Six Nations and the Saxons squad to face Ireland Wolfhounds on January 30.

Lock Dave Attwood, centres Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph, fly-half George Ford, full-back/wing Anthony Watson and prop David Wilson, who lives in Trowbridge, are all in the main squad.

Burgess is named in the Saxons for the first time, where he is joined by teammates Ollie Devoto, Matt Garvey, Henry Thomas and Rob Webber.

England boss Lancaster has chosen to replace Manu Tuilagi in his training squad with Bath's Joseph, with the Leicester talisman still struggling with groin trouble.

Warminster-based wing Semesa Rokoduguni was among the list of players not considered because of a hip injury.

Meanwhile, Toulouse wing Yoann Huget has received a formal warning for feigning injury during his team's European Champions Cup defeat against Bath last Sunday.

European Professional Club Rugby said the warning was issued by match citing commissioner John Charles.

In a statement, EPCR said it followed "an act contrary to good sportsmanship in the 43rd minute in that he (Huget) deliberately feigned an injury in contravention of Law 10.4(m)."

France international Huget was seen to perform a blatant dive in an attempt to gain a penalty for foul play during the Pool Four clash, which Bath won 35-18 at Stade Ernest Wallon.

Players who accumulate three citing warnings or three yellow card offfences for foul play - or a combination of both - during the Champions Cup and European Challenge Cup competitions will be required to attend a disciplinary hearing.
