MINETY gave second team stalwart and former club chairman Sean Richards a fitting send-offwith their strongest performance of the season.
Richards, who has played for the club for 30 years, was hanging up his boots at the end of the match and saw his teammates dominate.
Luke Radcliffe celebrated his return to the second team by scoring a hat-trick before the break and there were also first-half tries for Chris Hazell and Ashley Windle.
Tim Vaughan kicked a penalty and three conversions to make it 34-0 at half-time.
Minety extended their lead in the second half with tries from Graham Wells, James Stuart, Alex Gough, Tim Vaughan and Dellam Murray. Gough also kicked three conversions.
Trowbridge scored a consolation try but the last word went to skipper Steve Murray, who crashed over for the final try of the afternoon.
