SUTTON Benger sealed the Dorset & Wilts Two North with a 24-0 victory against Colerne.

Benger started the day knowing that a bonus-point win would be enough to claim the prize.

However, this looked highly unlikely at half-time, with the game pointless.

Colerne had clearly turned up to spoil the party and their quick-press defence caused Benger to make numerous mistakes.

Home coach Rich Waddington rang the changes at the break and it had the desired effect.

As the second period progressed Benger began to control the game.

A quick-fire brace of tries got the scoreboard moving for the home side, the second coming from a scrum after Benger were awarded a penalty five meters out.

The pack, who had a dominated the scrum all game, drove their opponents over the line with number eight Matt Rea touching down.

A third try followed, but with time running out, it looked like the title champagne was going to have to go on ice.

However, as the game entered its final minutes, Benger shifted the ball out wide to Ben Pope.

The young winger grubber-kicked past his opposite number to score the vital fourth try and seal the crown.
