Minety returned to winning form by overcoming local rivals Chippenham 31-26.

They dominated the early exchanges and took the lead with a try near the posts in the fifth minute. Chippenham responded with two tries to take the lead but just before half-time, prop Gareth Thomas went over for his first try of the campaign for Minety.

The home side lost second row Ash Windle to a yellow card after the break and a converted try took Chippenham 19-12 ahead.

MacAllister sliced through for Minety, but a further Chippenham try made it 26-17.

Two quick tries turned it around, flanker Del Murray pouncing on a loose ball to go in from 60 metres before centre Jack Howse touched down, Garland converting both.
