DEVIZES eased to a 79-0 success over a depleted Cheddar side.
The visitors had to borrow several players from Devizes to ensure that that the game went ahead.
Tries from Mary Wallington and Emma Matthews got Devizes off to a flying start as they looked to build on last week’s 44-0 success at Chew Valley.
Some fine breaks allowed Candice Walters to bag the third try, before Alice Bowerbank showed a good turn of pace to go over for score number four.
Walters scored her second of the day after some good work from Wallington and the hat-trick was completed after Cheddar failed to clear their lines.
Emily Pratt grabbed her first senior try before Georgia Walker went over to give Devizes a 51-0 lead at the break.
Captain Kate Stradling got in on the act with try of her own before Pratt touched down her second.
Fay A’Bear also dotted down before Walters completed the scoring with her fourth of the match.
