Calne’s U30s and Over 30s teams in the Mike West Memorial trophy match
CALNE held its annual inter-club game at the town’s Recreation Ground, with an U30s versus Over 30s match for the Mike West Memorial Trophy taking centre stage.
The game encourages current, former and new players to play social rugby at the club, which has secured two new sponsors, Bevirs Solicitors and Calne Lions Club.
Club chairman Chris Austin said: “This is a very important fixture in the club's calendar and it was great seeing so many players - past and present - putting on their boots and really enjoying a game of rugby.
The U30s team triumphed 34-22.
