MARLBOROUGH suffered more pain at the hands of North Dorset in Southern Counties South.
Chris Budgen's side had narrowly lost out to their rivals in the recent Dorset & Wilts 1st XV Cup final and the visitors' absentees and lack of training in recent weeks came to the fore.
The home side were always in control of the match and scored tries at crucial times.
For the visitors, the front row of Darius Hamilton, Jon Berry and Budgen all had fine games, while club captain Jamie Pittams who moved into the back row to play at number eight had one of his best games for the club.
