PEWSEY delivered a 10-try triumph in a decidedly one-sided affair, although the home team were first on the scoreboard with a converted try following a rare lapse in Vale's defence after ten minutes.

Vale hit back immediately with two tries in three minutes, flanker Phil Hobbs from the restart followed by centre Joe Tavaga, the latter converted by fly-half James Haynes.

The visitors continued to dominate territory and possession, playing into a strong wind in the first half it was nearly half time before flanker Olly Spence took the ball on the charge and ran in from 20 metres, Haynes adding the extras.

Pewsey scored seven second-half tries launched from a go-forward pack and 'play book' backs play.

Thirty seconds from kick off, following a mix-up in the home side's receiving group, lock James Campbell collected the ball and ran in for the touch down, unconverted.

Centre Ty Lewis scored in the corner then lock Mike Paddick was over for a well-taken try, Haynes slotting the latter conversion.

Combe managed a try, unconverted with 20 minutes to go but this was followed by four more for Vale.

Hobbs added to his first half score and wing Chris Spence and replacement scrum-half Nick Damper both touched down before Tavaga got his second, Haynes converting.
