SPARTANS Gym held their second Pound for Pound show at the Calne Leisure Centre in memory of Ashley Belcher, who died last year.
A number of fighters from the Chippenham gym took part in title fights on the night, Kent Kauppinen clinching the WCA English Boxing title at +92 kgs.
Kauppinen defeated Bristol’s Nick Gigg over five rounds, while there was also a WCA Professional English Kickboxing title at 76-78 kgs for Ben Heap.
Heap stopped Bristol’s Ashley Lewis in the fourth round, having been behind on points after the previous three.
Spartans’ Sami Jones, 13, lost out to Weston Warriors Brooklyn Chamberlain, 13, for the WCA Junior Area title.
Fighter of the night was Kane Mallinson for his efforts against Swindon’s Aidan Hills.
The next Spartans show is on Saturday, November 7 in Chippenham - the fifth show in the ‘Hells Gate’ series.
