DEVIZES finally ended their long losing run as they claimed a bonus-point from their clash with basement boys Pewsey.
With the wind in the opening half, Devizes went into the lead with a Matty Holloran penalty and Holloran then paved the way for the opening try, spotting a gap before being hit by a high tackle that saw the referee award a converted penalty try.
Pewsey suffered another blow when prop ?? suffered a broken tibia and slight dislocated ankle and then shipped a second try as Jacob Unwin touched down for Holloran to convert.
Buckingham and Corbin Turner set up the next score, full-back Eddy Darragh having too much pace for the defence, Holloran again converting.
Holloran then added another converted try before the break with a jinking run.
Already assured of the bonus point win, Devizes let in a converted try after the break, but Holloran responded by kicking a penalty and Darragh ran in his second of the afternoon to tee up an easy conversion.
Pewsey peppered the Devizes line, but the defence held up well before scrum-half Nick Damper bundled over.
But Holloran had the last laugh with another score.
