New summer programme is set to lure in bumper crowds
The largest-ever calendar of events for the 2008 motorsport season has just been published by the South West's favourite racing circuit at Castle Combe with a host of bargain offers and new features for its many thousands of fans.
Enthusiasts can now purchase a season pass for all nine race meetings for just £95, saving some £115 on normal admission prices, together with free admission to the four Action Days, and unlimited access to the paddock on race days to mix with drivers and riders and soak up the high-octane atmosphere.
The 60-page full colour glossy programme also includes details of how to register online at the Castle Combe website www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk for regular news updates, special offers and receive a free ticket worth £12 for the popular Formula Ford Carnival on October 4.
Those who prefer to book for particular race days in advance get free all-day paddock entry.
Once again Castle Combe circuit offers free parking close to the action and on some parts of the circuit fans can watch the racing from the comfort of their own cars.
The programme also lists the dates of five monthly Bike Nights from May to September which give motorcyclists the chance to meet up with other riders to talk bikes and enjoy a meal.
And new for this year is a special Sunday Morning Classic Car Breakfast Drive-In on June 8 which gives golden-oldie car owners the chance to meet fellow enthusiasts and enjoy what one classic magazine has hailed as the best breakfast to be found at any UK circuit.
The event will support the Bath Hospital Forever Friends fund-raising appeal.
The programme also lists all the race days with start times and admission prices, motorcycle race days, the Action and Track Days, Sprints and Club Days together with information on the award-winning Racing School's five different driving experiences from the Formula Ford racing car to the Lotus Elise, and the increasingly popular Rally Drive on the simulated Special Stage which is now open on Saturdays.
There is also information on the benefits of joining the Castle Combe Racing Club.
