THREE Wiltshire riders have been selected for the British team to defend the team title at the FEI European Championships in Malmo next month.

Hodson's Tom McEwen, Lacock's David Doel and Warminster's Isobel Djivanovic came through a final trial at Aston Le Walls and will be part of the squad for the 19-21 year olds event from August 9-12.

Britain have held the team gold title for seven consecutive years. In addition to team gold, Willa Newton was crowned individual silver at last year’s Europeans at Blair Castle, Perthshire.

McEwen was part of last year's winning team, while Djivanovic will be making her European Championship debut following her impressive win at Tattersalls in the Young Rider CCI2*.
