The Cleveland Cavaliers won for the first time in five despite blowing a 23-point lead in a 104-103 win over the Orlando Magic 104-103.
Leading 67-47 at the half, the Cavs were outscored 33-17 in the third quarter and the Magic took the lead for the first time in the game with less than half a minute to play.
Isaiah Thomas – who scored 21 on the night – hit two free throws with 11 seconds left on the clock and a solid defensive stand from Cleveland secured the narrow win.
Eric Gordon hit a half-court shot on the buzzer as the Houston Rockets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 116-98.
Gordon had 30 points and three rebounds in the win, with his dramatic shot coming at the end of the third period.
Jusuf Nurkic collected 19 points and 17 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers beat the Indiana Pacers 100-86, while the Philadelphia 76ers put a dent in the Boston Celtics’ lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with an 89-80 win.
