ETCHILHAMPTON rider Tommy Bridewell will resume his MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend after a five-week break.
Bridewell was fourth last time out at Oulton Park and is eyeing a first poidum finish of the season.
He said: “I am massively looking forward to Snetterton.
“We are as ready as we can be after not riding for over five weeks, so we will need to start free practice by taking it as it comes and then go from there.
“I am looking to try and build on Oulton Park where we made a massive leap forward; we are not completely there yet, so if we keep working like we did at the last round, then it won’t take long.
“I am riding within my limits at the moment to find the last missing piece rather than going banzai.
“We have made big steps forward and if we can do that again then we will be bang on.
“If we had a fourth and fifth last time out and are still not quite there, then that shows what we can do once we have everything 100 per cent. I just can’t wait to get back out there.”
Australian teammate Josh Brookes, who won at Oulton Park, is currently second overall.
