We are all focused on chasing down Sheffield
We started last weekend on a high after our recent winning streak and carried it on against Romford Raiders, winning 3-2.
It was important for us to beat one of our play off
rivals because it gives us the edge going into the last month of the season.
This is the time where we need everyone to be on top form.
I have always said February is the month where you need to be on a run.
To be fair on the players, before the 5-4 overtime loss to Bracknell on Sunday, we had won four on the bounce, which is the form and results we need to be producing.
We will need to be at our best for this weekend's round of matches as we host MK Lightening and then travel to Sheffield Scimitars.
They are both big games for us because MK will represent a huge test for the form we are in and where we are as a team.
But also because Sheffield are not too far ahead of us in sixth place.
We have two games in hand on them and, if we beat them, and win the extra games, it could push us to within touching distance of them.
MK are fifth but a little too far ahead for us to realistically catch.
That does not mean we cannot beat them this weekend though.
We've beaten them in the Knockout Cup, but have lost to them four times in the league and that is something we want to put right.
After Saturday night, we'll be putting all our efforts into reeling in Sheffield.
