BASSETT’S A team remained fifth in Wilts & NE Somerset Division One by putting basement boys Devizes B to the sword.
Midway through the first half Anthony Matthews had a goal disallowed but John Terry’s strike beat the keeper for the opener.
A switch in formation boosted Bassett after the break, Pete Sammon taking advantage of his role higher up the pitch to scored the second.
Sammon added his second and his side’s third, before adding two more to round off the victory.
