CHIPPENHAM Vets (Chipwrecks) returned from a successful hockey tour to the Alecto Hockey Club in Leiden Holland, where they won every game to bring home the Alecto Vets Championship Cup.
Chipwrecks took a strong touring side, but were devastated with three injuries during the friendly warm up game on Saturday.
However, the bare 11 didn't concede a goal during the competition, winning all their games 1-0.
The best was saved until the final, with Matt Hunt hitting a howitzer of a shot from the edge of the D, which rocketed into the roof of the net to defeat the Leiden hockey team.
