BASSETT took the lead after 10 minutes when a through ball by Luke Salisbury found Laurence Winter, who strode into the D before clipping a finish in the far corner.
Increased Bath pressure, towards the end of the half, eventually resulted in the equaliser and they added a second before half time.
In an effort to equalise, Bassett pushed upfield but Bath surged on the counter attack to make it 3-1.
A fourth followed before Jake Nunns scored with an excellent reverse stick strike.
Two late Bath goals confirmed Bassett’s defeat.
