A TOTAL of 69 junior golfers took part in the 30th Hills Wiltshire Junior Golf Championships at Broome Manor Golf Club in Swindon.
In the boys section three players returned an impressive gross 75 score resulting in an exciting three-hole play off.
The championship was won by 14 year old Kyle Campbell (Wrag Barn GC) with second place going to Lewis Ward (Wrag Barn) and third to place to Max Cheesley (Ogbourne Downs).
The girls champion was Seona Mauchline (High Post ) with a gross score of 77, second was Natasha Chapman (Marlborough) on 84 and third went to Katie Walls (Broome Manor) on 97.
The best nett score on the day was from 13 year old Sebastian James (Wrag Barn), whose gross 87 off a 20 handicap returned a nett 67, just one shot clear of Thomas Scullion (Marlborough) who secured second place on countback over Alex Mulham (Bowood).
