WILTSHIRE concluded South West Week on a high note as they defeated Dorset in their final Inter-Counties Matchplay Championship match at the Bristol & Clifton Golf Club.
Paul Green's side, without a win in their previous four matches, triumphed 7.75-6.25 after the morning singles had ended at 4-4.
There were wins for Marlborough's Dom Baverstock-Seaman, Broome Manor's Tom Law, Bowood's Luke Gorman and North Wilts' Jack Charman.
In the afternoon foursomes, Baverstock-Seaman and Marlborough clubmate Jamie Amor were victorious, as were Law and clubmate James Wiltshire, earning Wiltshire their success.
Wiltshire finished fifth from six teams, Somerset taking the overal title.
