Olympic event for our youth

Undiscovered young athletes are invited to “Prove it on the Streets” of Swindon alongside two Olympic Gold sprint stars.

Linford Christie and Darren Campbell will host this event on July 18, in the Broadgreen area, which is free and open to those between 11 and 20. The aim is for young people from all areas to feel welcome to take part in the events, and to broaden their horizons. "Prove it on the streets"? I would have thought that the athletics track would have been more appropriate. I guess that the organisers think it has to sound cool for it be of any interest. I am sure it will be good fun though.
