ON-LOAN midfielder Kellan Gordon has bade his farewells to Swindon Town via social media after having an operation on his dislocated right shoulder.

Derby County youngster Gordon, 20, suffered the injury during Town's goalless draw with Carlisle United on April 7, being replaced by Donal McDermott in the early stages at the County Ground.

He subsequently had surgery on the injury and heads back to the Rams having made 34 appearances for Town, scoring five goals.

Gordon was brought in, along with fellow Derby youngster Timi Elsnik, on transfer deadline day last August.
