Adver Sport assess the performances of Swindon Town’s players in today’s 3-1 win away at Cambridge United in League Two.

STUART MOORE – 6

Looked a little shaky under crosses and kicking was off to start with but produce some good stops too.

BEN PURKISS – 6

Restored to his preferred right-back role and was solid, until a bit of an error allowed Ikpeazu to strike to give Cambridge hope.

CHRIS ROBERTSON – 7

Improvement on last weekend and it was a straightforward afternoon as the hosts didn’t really offer too many threats.

ROLLIN MENAYESE – 7

His first time playing in a back two for Town and looked nicely composed. Was strong and got in several important challenges.

CHRIS HUSSEY – 7.5

Really energetic on the left, showing few signs of six months out of action, with one of his cracking crosses leading to the opening goal. Withdrawn late on.

PAUL MULLIN – 7

Stuck in a wider position than he is used to but was lively on the right and worried the home defence with some nice darts forward. Subbed in the dying minutes.

JAMES DUNNE – 7

Battled hard in the middle of the park and stifled Cambridge’s play, not allowing them to get any real flow going.

TIMI ELSNIK – 6

One of his quieter afternoons and didn’t see a lot of the ball. Didn’t appear to have much space to work with in the middle.

MATT TAYLOR – 7

Higher up on the left that he has been used to and showed his class in patches, including a fine free-kick to set up the crucial second goal.

LUKE NORRIS – 7

A cracking header gave Town the lead but should have been selfish to have a second himself. Limped off through injury in the second half.

MARC RICHARDS (C) – 8

Two more goals to his name in what is an electric start to his Town career and led the line impressively all afternoon.

Substitutes: KAIYNE WOOLERY – 7

(For Norris, 58) Added pace in attack and won the penalty that killed the game.

RYAN MCGIVERN – 6.5

(For Hussey, 77) Helped stiffen up the defence in the closing minutes.

KELLAN GORDON – 5.5

(For Mullin, 86) Little time to make a real impact.

Subs not used: Will Henry, Kyle Knoyle, Scott Twine, Keshi Anderson.
