The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

One to watch: George Maris

YOUNGSTER George Maris may have only just celebrated his 22nd birthday, but the forward-thinking midfielder could provide Town’s defence with a problem or two tomorrow.

Maris has appeared 31 times for United this season, scoring five goals.

He’s likely to be United’s playmaker, feeding the home side’s three forwards in Waters, Ikpeazu and Ibehre.

The adaptable midfielder, who can also play on the left, will be looking to exploit the gaps available in Town’s defence - though it remains to be seen if new Town boss Phil Brown will stick with three players at the back.

Following Swindon’s three-goal loss at home last week, Maris will be a player Town will want to block out.

Key battle: Rollin Menayese v Uche Ikpeazu

CAMBRIDGE United have hit a goal drought in recent games, scoring three goals in their last four fixtures.

After being part of the back three that conceded three times against Cheltenham last week, it will be interesting to see how Rollin Menayese responds if picked by new manager Phil Brown.

Uche Ikpeazu, left, has scored 13 goals this season, making his match with Menayese potentially crucial in the game’s outcome.
