Adver Sport assess the performances of Swindon Town's players in today's 3-1 win at Mansfield Town in League Two.
REICE CHARLES-COOK – 7.5
Will feel hard done by not to come away with a clean sheet but made several really good stops in another strong performance. Booked.
BEN PURKISS – 7
Solid and dependable in what was a straightforward performance against limited genuine threat from Mansfield.
OLLY LANCASHIRE – 7.5
Was pained to give up a goal late on but was neat and tidy in most things he did and got in some good challenges.
MATT PRESTON – 8
Seems to grow in presence with each appearance. Another commanding performance at the back, capped by one perfectly-timed diving tackle in the latter stages.
MATT TAYLOR – 7.5
Sent two delicious balls in for Town’s first two goals and was resilient in his defensive duties too.
AMINE LINGANZI – 8
Set the tone for Swindon with the early goal and appeared to be here, there and everywhere in the middle of the park.
JAMES DUNNE – 7
Outshone by Linganzi in the middle but worked himself into the ground and kept nipping at the heels of the Stags’ midfielders.
PAUL MULLIN – 7.5
Bags on energy out wide on his return to the side and was a nuisance for his full-back all afternoon. Could have had a goal too.
KESHI ANDERSON – 8
Ran himself into the ground from the first whistle and seemed to be prominent in all of Town’s early forays forward. Very good display.
JOHN GODDARD – 9
Got a goal and looked lively all game. Just has a calmness about him and linked Town’s midfield and attack with effortless precision.
LUKE NORRIS – 7.5
Great composure from the penalty spot to keep up his strong scoring start to the season and was a real handful for the home defence.
Substitutes:
DONAL MCDERMOTT – 6
(For Anderson, 81) No real time to have an impact as Town were largely defending late on.
KAIYNE WOOLERY – 6
(For Norris, 88) Same as McDermott as it was a case of defence rather than attack.
Subs not used: Henry, Robertson, Iandolo, Gordon, Knoyle.
