Lawrence Vigouroux
Largely unemployed for the afternoon but what he did, he did well. Will wonder how two goals ended in his net. 8
Ben Purkiss
Was hardly defending against waves of visiting attacks but was solid nonetheless and a couple of decent balls forward. 7.5
Dion Conroy
Gave the visiting strikers no change in the early stages and very unfortunate to pick up an injury in the first half. 7.5
Olly Lancashire
Solid from the skipper, who will be annoyed he got caught out by Godden for the free kick that led to Stevenage’s second. Booked. 7.5
Chris Hussey
Delightful corner delivery for the first goal and although some of his later efforts weren’t of the same standard, he performed well. Booked. 8
James Dunne
A solid screen in front of the defence and Town benefitted from his vocal presence in the middle of the park. Booked. 8.5
Timi Elsnik
Some nice touches from the on-loan man and fizzed a fierce second-half drive over the bar. Held the whip hand against his opponents. 8.5
Kellan Gordon
Tormented the Stevenage defence in the first half and although the second half was quieter he was always a threat. 8.5
Paul Mullin
Not as visible as Gordon on the other side but grew into the game and was a key link between back and front. 7.5
Keshi Anderson
A constant menace to the visitors, nipping between the lines and always offering himself. Thoroughly deserved his goal. 9
Luke Norris
Appears to be brimming with confidence as proven by the way he took his goals. Formed a nice double act with Anderson too. Booked. 9.5
SUBSTITUTES
Chris Robertson (for Conroy, 42)
Will be frustrated at getting caught out for Stevenage’s first goal but was neat and tidy and offered an aerial threat from set pieces. Booked. 7.5
Amine Linganzi (for Elsnik, 70)
Proved a good replacement for Elsnik and worked efficiently after his arrival, almost carving a chance out for himself. 7.5
Kaiyne Woolery (for Gordon 83)
Little chance to make an impact after such a late arrival but helped the team get over the line. 6.5
Subs not used: James Brophy, Harry Smith, Reice Charles-Cook, Matty Taylor
