The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald:

One to watch - Dan Newton

STRIKER Dan Newton has enjoyed a flying start to the new season with Stevenage and has already hit the back of the net four times this term.

The 26-year-old opened his account on the opening day of the season and registered strikes in Stevenage’s next two League Two contests.

Although he then drew a blank for three games in a row, Newton was back on form on Tuesday night with another goal in his side’s 1-1 draw at home to Crawley Town.

Newton was only snapped up by Stevenage boss Darren Sarrl over the summer having been in non-league before that.

However, he showed plenty of pedigree to be able to make the step up to the EFL after scoring 29 times for Tamworth United in National League North last term.

Key battle - Harry Beautyman v James Dunne

HARRY Beautyman only arrived at Stevenage from Northampton Town over the summer but has already established himself in Darren Sarrl’s first-choice XI, with all of his five appearances in League Two this term coming from the start.

The 25-year-old will look to make his side tick in the middle of the park so Town will hope James Dunne has shaken off his illness to take his place in the heart of midfield where he will try to rein in Beautyman.
