LINCOLN City have added two fresh faces ahead of the League Two campaign with Michael Bostwick and Harry Anderson joining from Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.

Bostwick, who has made almost 200 appearances for the League One outfit, was placed on the transfer list at the start of the window.

Meanwhile 20-year-old winger Anderson re-joins the club after having two separate loan spells at the Imps last season.

Midfielder Bostwick, who was their Player of the Year last year, has signed a two-year-deal, while Anderson has penned a three-year-deal.

CAMBRIDGE United have also been busy bolstering their ranks with the addition of vastly experienced goalkeeper David Forde.

The former Republic of Ireland stopper was released by Millwall after making 339 for the London club, but spent last season on loan at Portsmouth.

The 37-year-old, who won 24 caps for his country, has agreed a one-year-deal at the Abbey Stadium.

NOTTS COUNTY were able to fend off interest from League One and Scottish Premier League sides as they recruited Jorge Grant on a season-long loan deal.

This will be the second time the 22-year-old winger will have signed on at Meadow Lane, as the Nottingham Forest man spent last season them on loan.

During that time, he as able to net six goals in 17 appearances for Kevin Nolan’s troops, as they claimed 16th place last term.

FORMER Crystal Palace and Swansea City striker Jermaine Easter is hoping to earn a deal after going on trial with League Two’s Yeovil Town.

The 35-year-old helped Palace gain promotion to the Premier League in 2013, but was released by his most recent side, Bristol Rovers at the end of the season.

The striker appeared in the Glovers most recent pre-season fixture, which was a 2-0 win over Welsh Premier League outfit Llanelli Town, but failed to get on the score sheet.

FOREST GREEN ROVERS have hired former Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers defender Chris Barker as their U18s boss.

The 37-year-old, who also played for Cardiff City, will also be working as academy assistant, under Scott Bartlett who was manager of Weston-super-Mare while Barker was assistant manager.

Megan Hodun and Vicky French have also joined the academy set up, as physio and head of education.
