SWINDON Town's squad returned to work this morning as the first pre-season training session took place at Beversbrook Sports Facility, while another of the club's summer friendlies was also confirmed.

David Flitcroft's squad were put through their paces on the 3G surface at the Calne facility, under the watchful eye of the new manager and assistant Ben Futcher.

Striker Paul Mullin, whose signing from Morecambe on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee was confirmed this morning, was among those to take part in the session, alongside fellow County Ground new boys Chris Robertson and James Dunne.

Goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux was also training alongside youngster Will Henry and a third as-yet unidentified goalkeeper, but there was no sign of midfielder Yaser Kasim or strikers Jermaine Hylton and Jonathan Obika, who have been offered new deals with their current contracts expiring at the end of this week.

Obika has already indicated to manager Flitcroft that he will move on.

Meanwhile, Town will travel to National Legaue side Woking on Saturday, July 29 for a pre-season friendly, it was revealed today.

The non-league Cards, the former club of Town midfielder John Goddard, announced the fixture as part of their own pre-season schedule, a repeat of the match last summer which Town lost 3-1.

Admission prices will be £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for Under 12s.
