CHIPPENHAM Tri’s Peter Blake represented Great Britain at the ITU World Triathlon Championships in Cozumel, Mexico.
The 43-year-old, from Marshfield, was racing over the age group World Championship distance, featuring a 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride and 10km run.
In 31 degree heat, he completed the course in 2 hours 16 mins 21 seconds, placing him 30th overall out of 79 finishers and fifth for his country.
Chippenham TRI also flew the flag at Tenby Ironman, bringing club chairman Chris Maxwell home in 10:37, first time Ironman David Tucker in 15:02 and Ironman veteran James Hutcheson in 13:29.
