YASER Kasim featured as Iraq rescued a point in their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Vietnam today.
The Town midfielder played the full game as Younis Mahmoud dispatched a dramatic 97th minute penalty to cancel out Le Cong Vinh’s first-half opener and seal a 1-1 draw for Kasim’s men at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
A point leaves Iraq second in Group F of the second round of Asian qualifying for Russia 2018, two points behind Thailand ahead of their next qualifier away to Chinese Taipei on November 17.
