TOWN defender Brad Barry has been released from hospital after spending the night at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital suffering from severe concussion, which is likely to keep him sidelined for at least two weeks.
Barry was stretchered off, reportedly unconscious, in the second half of last night's 2-0 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at the Kassam Stadium and immediately taken to hospital.
A brief Town statement this morning said: "The club can confirm that Bradley Barry has been released from hospital this morning.
"He suffered a severe concussion but his CT scan was clear and he spent a good night at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
"The club will continue to monitor his condition and he is likely to be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks.''
Barry later commented on Twitter: "Thank you for all the kind messages from everyone means a lot! Want to thank the staff at Oxfords John Radcliffe hospital for everything.''
