WILTSHIRE had built up a second-innings lead of 180, with five wickets in hand, after day two of their Unicorns Championship Western Division clash against Herefordshire at South Wilts CC today.

Having posted 392-8 from their 90 overs on day one, the home side had already claimed one visiting wicket before the start of the second day today, but Herefordshire also proved adept with the bat, racking up 329 before being dismissed in the 87th over.

Liam Gwynne notched 87 for the away side, with Ben Stebbings scoring 58 and Will Barrett 40, while Corsham's Joe King led the attack with 3-96, Tahir Afridi, Andy Carroll and new boy Richard Oakley taking two wickets each.

Wiltshire reached 117-5 in their second innings, Potterne's Neil Clark unbetaen on 34 at stumps, as Barrett claimed another three wickets.
