SWINDON Robins have suffered a blow ahead of tonight's Elite League clash against Leicester Lions at the Abbey Stadium with Danish star Peter Kildemand ruled out through injury.

Kildemand crashed in his home country last night and aggravated the knee he hurt earlier this season.

The Robins will operate the rider replacement facility, with star riders Troy Batchelor and Nick Morris eligible to cover for two of his programmed rides.

Boss Alun Rossiter said: "This is a massive blow and I can't believe how unlucky we are this season, if it's not one thing it's another.

"This makes our task tough tonight and we want to see the Abbey Stadium packed. We will need our fans more than ever before to get beind the rest of the boys, we've fought against problems all season and we will do it again."

£5 admission tickets for the Tuesday night clash with Coventry are on sale at the track tonight.
