THERE was Wiltshire success at the Walsall Trophy Annual Routine competition in Cheltenham.
Chippenham Synchro ASC successfully defended their title, dominating the event which included six duet sections and two team routines.
The youngest swimmers, Amelie Bartlett and Katie Sheppardson, got the competition off to a good start winning the Novice 12 and under section by four points.
A gold medal-winning performance by Abbie Cooper and Lillia Barnett followed, as did the 12 and under team swimming a new routine to music from Annie and won two points ahead of Taunton.
The Calne Alpha 4 Synchro team featured girls aged 9-17, some of whom were tasting competition for the first time.
Calne achieved joint second in the novice 12 Years & Under Duet, third in the Skill 1 12 Years & Under Duet, second in the Skill 1 13-19 Years Duet, first in the Skill 3 13-19 Years Duet and second in the 25 Years & Under Combination Routine.
