ADVER Sport's Tom Bassam hands out his ratings from Swindon Town's 3-0 defeat to Gillingham.

Wes Foderingham (booked)

Put under pressure by his defence with poor backpasses, which he dealt with well. Left stranded by all three goals. 6

Raphael Branco

Backed himself into corners, looked shaky and deserved to be hauled off. 4

Nathan Thompson (booked)

Did not command his defence with authority and did not do enough to stop the first two goals. 5

Jordan Turnbull (booked)

A beacon of light in a field of darkness at the back, played with assurance missing from his more experienced peers. 8*

Nathan Byrne

Could not beat his man at all and wasted the ball too often when coming inside. 5

Massimo Luongo

Made little impact from midfield crying out for his driving presence. At times the game passed him by. 5

Yaser Kasim

Too slow in possession and lacking in confidence in passing, gone are the lofted balls out to the flanks, replaced by conservative short ones. 5

John Swift

Wasted the ball with regularity and created only one clear chance for his strikers, the crowd were quick to get on his back. 5

Harry Toffolo

Better than his last appearance but still yet to redicsover his crossing radar. 5

Michael Smith

Innefectual throughout and deserved his early substitution. 4

Andy Williams

Was clearly trying to make things happen but nothing came off for him. 5

Subs

Jonathan Obika (on for Smith, 52)

Had one header that was close and tried to impress but did not get the opportunity. 6

Jermaine Hylton (on for Williams, 60)

Had half an hour to impress and did not do so. 6

Ben Gladwin (on for Branco, 73)

Hit the post when he should have scored and otherwise failed to make an impact. 6
