DAVE Ferris conceded Chippenham Park did not do enough to win the game after being held to a goalless draw at home by Warminster Town.

Clear-cut chances were at a premium at Hardenhuish Park as a heavy pitch took its toll.

Even after Warminster had a man sent off in the second period Park were unable to find a way through, although boss Ferris was pleased to extend their unbeaten run to a fifth game.

“In terms of a spectator occasion it was probably quite drab,” said Ferris.

“We were probably slightly the better side but whether we deserved to win it, I’m not convinced.

“The sides cancelled each other out in midfield and when they got in the final third they ran out of ideas.

“We got on top in the second half but after they had a man sent off they shut up shop and we found it difficult to break them down.

“Still, we didn’t lose and we didn’t concede, so we’ll take the point and move on.”

Park are on the road on Saturday and travel to Chard Town.
