TOWN’S on-loan striker Miles Storey was the toast of teammate Jed Wallace after assisting both of his goals as Portsmouth beat Morecombe 3-0.

Storey, utilised as an attacking midfielder from the left by Pompey boss Andy Awford, demonstrated his qualities extend beyond goalscoring.

For both strikes the Town youngster produced excellent delivery from his wide, position. For the first picked out Wallace for a flying header, while the second found the 10-goal forward’s feet before being smartly finished.

Wallace was grateful for Storey’s assitance, insisting the drinks will be on him next time they have some time off.

He said: “Miles set me up for two great goals. When the time is right and we have a couple of days off at some point, I probably owe him a few beers for that.

“Miles was having a great game, causing the full-backs all sorts of problems and I managed to ghost in at the front post.

“Luckily it has hit me on the head and gone in for the first goal. Miles has also picked me out for the second goal.

Ryan Harley, who joined Exeter last week, did not feature as the Grecians beat Shrewsbury 3-2.
