CALNE Town were sent packing from the Wiltshire Senior Cup last weekend as they slipped to a disappointing home defeat at the hands of Toolstation League First Division rivals Warminster Town.
The Lilywhites’ Stu Windsor and Neurin Jones had efforts saved by Warminster keeper Carl Crabtree before the home side went in front in the 37th minute, with Aaron Hopkins finding the net.
But three minutes later, the visitors levelled as Alex Lapham’s 25-yard free-kick hit the bar and span across the line.
Warminster’s Jack Miluk popped up with the winner with 71 minutes on the clock as he poked home following a frantic scramble in front of the Calne goal.
